RR notes (hey it's my webserver, I can write what I want): "I also went to Primary school with Richard - yes Rod, Marrickville Primary - and in the latter years at Fort Street famously (to me and him, if no one else) screwed up a class debate when I just couldn't read Richard's speaker notes - and panicked (as I did). He couldn't read them himself as he had lost his voice. I reveal this not only to say "sorry Richard, my fault" but also because after that incident I vowed to become a confident public speaker. Which I eventually did, surprisingly enough. So in a way, I owe you one, RH."
