The CCCC is based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It is an area about 100km north of Sydney and immediately adjacent to the Newcastle (AKA Hunter) district. In summer during daylight saving the club organises racing on Friday afternoons at a street circuit, Lucca Road North Wyong, from about 6pm. It's a 2km circuit with just 3 sharp corners (so not nearly as technical as Heffron Park, but possibly faster!). |
||
In the (Winter) road-racing season events are generally (not necessarily!)
held on Saturdays at Calga, west of Gosford. The start/finish may be found
1km north of the Calga Freeway Interchange, at the intersection of Jones
Rd and Peats Ridge Rd. Racing starts at 2pm. Check the official club website for confirmation. If you are affiliated with the Australian Cycling Federation, great, if not, join up! It's a friendly club with over 100 members, including a strong mountain bike contingent. Come along, join in and race! (Helmets are of course compulsory.) |
