The most important thing is to respect not only the drivers and passengers around you but the environment you are passing through as well. Just because you have access to an automobile and enough knowledge and skill to drive it doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want, when you want. Like John Stuart Mill, ask yourself who else is affected by your actions and modify your behaviour accordingly. Ask yourself whether you have the right to impose yourself on others, and when. Is it enough reason to speed, burn rubber and generally ignore those around you simply because you can?

  • If you are an Australian Alfa owner you'll find like-minded people at the Alfa Owners Club. The club is broken into state organisations which run differing programs of driver education, competitive and social events.
  • The US Alfa Owners organisation is similar in scope and nature.
  • Modern Alfas come from FIAT-owned factories in Arese and Torino.
  • Before the current generation 166 we had the equally lovely 164
  • Did you know the Alfa Montreal is essentially a 105-series 'chassis' with a small-bore V8?
